Monday 7th Jan - fancy potatoes

OK so Monday we couldn't decide what to have for dinner so while browsing Pinterest I found this link .

Which I really thought looked amazing... so I gave it a try....

We used Rosemary & Sage for seasoning which while cooking smelled divine! 

If we had been more clever we would've made salad to go with them.... but they tasted amazing!

A new recipe a week.....

So my wonderful friend "A" and I were discussing before I went on Christmas holiday that I really need to get better cooking skills... I openly admit I suck, to be honest I probably set the Fire Alarm off more then any person I know! I get distracted really easily when cooking lol! unless its something quick and easy or I am baking most things end up as charcoal....

So we were discussing the movie Julie & Julia for some reason and how the character tried to cook her way through Julia Childs recipe books.... 

So We set a challenge for myself to try one new recipe a week so I guess this is the start of this, with it being the first week back from holidays....

To be honest I have actually tried two new recipes this week and about to try a third... so will have to blog about it a lil later this week and add pics :)
